For over 10 years, our head chef Ivanka has been delighting guests with her culinary skills – and it’s no surprise that many return again and again for her cooking. Our kitchen offers a heartwarming mix of Austrian and Czech cuisine, prepared with love and tradition.

Each day, we serve two freshly made soups, a choice of three main courses (always including a vegetarian option), and irresistible homemade desserts, all baked by Ivanka herself.

Her personal goal is that every guest should leave their holiday at least two kilos heavier – though she rarely succeeds, as the food might be rich and delicious, but the Gastein valley offers so many activities that you’ll burn off every bite.

To complement your meal, choose from a selection of excellent local Austrian wines or enjoy a cold draft beer.

The restaurant is also open to hikers and visitors exploring the beautiful Kötschachtal valley – a perfect stop for a hearty meal or simply to enjoy the stunning view of Mount Stubnerkogel from our sun terrace.
